Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician to join our team!

The Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products and associated functions, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Performs multiple technician job duties of the Pharmacy Department including clean room, cart fill, repackaging, inventory, automated dispensing cabinet, outpatient, first dose, clerical area, chemotherapy preparation, and carousel.

HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period. Day shift only.

Experience/Qualifications

+ High school graduate or equivalent is required.

+ Graduate of accredited technical school and current Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred.

+ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.

+ Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of one year’s experience is preferred.

+ Pharmacy Technician Certification is required within 1 year of hire.
