Aspirus is seeking a ECHOCARDIOGRAPHER-VASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST to work between Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI and Rhinelander Hospital.

The Echocardiographer/Peripheral Vascular Technologist provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Uses patient information and age of patients to provide care. Whenever applicable, demonstrates understanding of the needs of specific age groups in terms of their physical and motor development, psychosocial development, and intellectual/language development.

HOURS: 80 hours every two weeks working 7am to 330pm, Monday-Friday

Experience/Qualifications

+ Knowledge of standards and procedures as they relate to ultrasound normally acquired through graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

+ One or more years of clinical ultrasound experience is preferred but not required.

+ ARDMS RDCS, ARDMS RVT, CCI RCS or CCI RVS

+ Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire

+ Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.

Howard Young Medical Center is an acute care facility located in Woodruff that provides a level of primary and specialty care not commonly found in a typical rural hospital. Built in 1977 the hospital traces its roots to the founding of Lakeland Memorial Hospital in the 1950s and provides care to residents across northern Wisconsin that includes Oneida, Vilas, and Iron counties.
