    Basic Job Functions:

    While travel is rather limited in this position, the candidate for this position must be willing to travel to US based locations on an as-needed basis to support business needs and project deadlines.

     

    Business Intelligence Development

     

    + Develop and maintain logistics focused Power BI dashboards, focused on cost optimization and key KPIs driving business decisions

    + Partner with key stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

    + Stay current on emerging technologies, and evolving business needs to develop proactive solutions

     

    Data Modeling and Management

     

    + Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data from various sources

    + Develop data pipelines/ETLs and assist in gathering, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

    + Design and implement data models and structures that support efficient data retrieval and analysis.

    + Monitor data quality and implement data validation processes to promote data integrity and consistency.

     

    Visualization and Storytelling

     

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to ensure the delivery of actionable business insights.

    + Train and support end users in the effective utilization of dashboards and assist in developing user documentation guides on best practices for using various reporting tools.

    + Continually assess and improve dashboard useability and accessibility to improve the user experience.

     

    Ad Hoc Analysis

     

    + Partner with key stakeholders on ad hoc transportation analysis projects via Excel or Power BI

    + Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest process improvements; plan and implement supply chain optimization projects

    + Work on projects or other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelors degree with a concentration in Supply Chain, Business Informatics, Engineering, Data Science, and or 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role

    + Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel and SQL

    + Experience with PowerBI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar business intelligence software tools

    + Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to effectively communicate to various audience groups both inside and outside of the company

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Prior experience in the manufacturing or transportation industry

    + Prior experience with cloud-based technology

    + Prior experience with Amazon Quick Sight

    + 3 or more years of professional experience

    + Strong knowledge of relevant BI technologies and concepts, such as Microsoft BI stack (Azure Synapse, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), SQL, DAX, MDX, Python or R, and data warehousing

    + A creative and innovative mentality focused on serving as a strategic partner to end users
