Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking a BUSINESS HEALTH SYSTEM SPECIALIST to join our BUSINESS HEALTH team!

The Business Health System Specialist maintains the Business Health data base system which supports the Occupational Health, Employee Assistance and Wellness Teams. This includes interacting with clients as needed, establishing and revising existing accounts, updating fee coding and all aspects of monthly accounts payable invoicing. The System Specialist is responsible for providing end-user training and training materials for the Systoc and supporting the day to day operation of the system.

In addition, the Business Health System Specialist supports all aspects of the database system for the current and future Regional Occupational Health Programs.

HOURS: Full Time 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly

Experience/Qualifications

+ Knowledge of Occupational Health and Employee Assistance accounts, database, registration, scheduling and billing procedures normally acquired through completion of an Associate Degree in Healthcare Business Services or equivalent with emphasis on billing practices. Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or Adult Education beneficial.

+ Proficiency with database management.

+ Computer literate in general business systems applications.

+ Experience with accounts receivable procedures.

+ Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

+ Data entry proficiency, attention to detail and high data accuracy rates.

+ Ability to multi task and handle multiple assignments and priorities appropriately.

+ Ability to work under minimum supervision to achieve job objectives.

+ Judgment, tact, communication and positive customer service attitude.

+ Ability to work extended hours to meet month-end deadlines.

+ Ability to quickly analyze and problem solve staff and customer concerns.

+ Ability to follow established Aspirus Clinics billing and collection policies.

+ Ability to identify potential inconsistencies and correct problems before they occur.

+ Superior organizational skills, analytical abilities and proven written and oral skills required.

+ Ability to exercise initiative and judgment in planning, organizing and carrying out training responsibilities.

+ Display professional competence while being personable and discreet.

+ Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required to enable some local and regional travel.
