ASPIRUS ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL in Duluth, MN is seeking a DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING ASSISTANT to join our RADIOLOGY ADMIN-OFFICE team!

Salary Range: $16.37 - $22.95 Hourly

Schedule/Hours: VARIED (ALL) SHIFTS, 8 hours

Weekend Requirement: Weekends On Call

FTE: OCCASIONAL, 0.001000 FTE

JOB SUMMARY

The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant performs a wide variety of routine duties including clerical, technical and patient related functions. The Assistant is responsible for assisting members of the patient care team and providing a broad range of health care services such as: patient check-in, exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams and procedures. The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant is trained to use a wide variety of diagnostic imaging equipment, computers, and software. Works under the supervision of a registered technologist, performing only duties in areas that training has been completed satisfactorily as determined by the technical lead of the area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

+ Education: High School graduate or equivalent

+ Experience: N/A

+ Licensure/Certification/Registration: Within 90 days of hire, BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

+ Education: Degree in Health Sciences.

+ Experience: Prior related work experience in a health care setting.

+ Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
