Aspirus Northland Orthopedics in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a highly motivated ATHLETIC TRAINER to join our team!

As an Athletic Trainer, you will

+ Provide comprehensive athletic training services to high school students.

+ Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized care plans based on patient age, diagnosis, and goals.

+ Support injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement in the school, at athletic events and in the community.

+ Incorporate patient and family education into all phases of care.

+ Document evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes according to established standards.

+ Collaborate with our orthopedic and sports medicine team.

Schedule

+ Full-Time or 1.0 FTE/80 hours every pay period

+ Monday-Friday; weekends as needed based on sport schedule

+ Day and evening hours

+ Travel required

Experience/Qualifications

+ Knowledge of athletic training standards and practices is normally acquired through completion of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).

+ Post graduate education in an area of specialization and experience in general practice of athletic training with experience in area of specialization.

+ Previous experience as an Athletic Trainer is beneficial.

+ Current Wisconsin licensure to practice athletic training.

+ Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

+ Current AED certification.

+ Clinical Specialist certification is beneficial.

+ Possesses a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

+ Possesses automobile liability insurance with minimum $100,000/$300,000 coverage required.
