Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for a Purchasing Specialist position in [Grove, IL]. Responsibilities:
+ Review requisitions and prepare purchase orders or bid requests.
+ Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
+ Select suppliers based on quality certification, capacity analysis, and financial analysis; negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations.
+ Maintain procurement records including costs, delivery schedules, and product quality; approve invoices for payment.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 4+ years of purchasing or procurement experience.
+ Knowledge of MRP systems (Oracle preferred).
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently.

**Pay Details:** $40.00 per hour
