Adecco is recruiting for a **Customer Service Representative** for a client in **East Syracuse, NY.** This position is temp-to-hire, paying **$20/hour.**

Responsibilities:
+ Provide day-to-day customer support, including problem-solving, order processing, and customer account maintenance.
+ Follow company policies and procedures while identifying opportunities to improve departmental efficiency.
+ Build strong relationships with customers and internal sales teams; provide proactive support to help drive sales.
+ Respond to customer inquiries via phone and in-person.
+ Schedule and bill for services, deliveries, and new installations; coordinate with the Service/Operations Manager on timelines.
+ Process customer payments and maintain accurate reports and records.
+ Make outbound calls to existing customers to schedule services or promote maintenance plans.
+ Perform outbound collection calls and assist with over-the-counter customer orders.
+ Resolve customer complaints professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up actions.
+ Document all customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions in internal systems.
+ Complete contract forms, address change requests, and service discontinuation orders.
+ Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department for further review.
+ Calculate service charges, arrange billing, and collect deposits/payments as needed.
+ Contact customers regarding inquiries, claim results, or planned adjustments.
+ Upsell additional products and services.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
+ 1+ years of customer service experience
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Customer service experience in a sales or marketing environment
+ Data entry experience
Essential Skills:
+ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
+ Comfortable with Windows OS, MS Excel, and MS Word
+ Ability to learn proprietary software
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Professional phone etiquette
**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
