As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring freight moves efficiently and accurately. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with heavy lifting, alongside a management team experienced in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities for a Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to:

+ Assist with shipping and receiving: unload trucks, check merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders, and distribute orders for processing.

+ Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to move, gather, distribute, and/or ship.

+ Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse for employees and customers.

+ Complete all tasks in compliance with safety policies and procedures.

+ Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.

+ Handle driver check calls, validate load data before marking deliveries for accounting purposes.

+ Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, ensuring loads arrive on time and in good condition.

Candidates for Warehouse Associate must meet the following requirements to be considered:

+ Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 lbs and load/unload trucks.

+ Basic written and verbal communication skills.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Comfortable working in a high-paced environment and adhering to safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry.

+ Experience loading/unloading trailers.

+ Familiarity with handheld scanners.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
