Description

We’re seeking a skilled Cable Technician to support the installation, termination, and maintenance of low-voltage and structured cabling systems. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean installs, understands cabling standards, and enjoys working in hands-on, field-based environments.

You’ll play a key role in supporting physical security infrastructure and network cabling projects across commercial and enterprise environments.

Requirements

Responsibilities

+ Install, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling

+ Perform structured cabling installations, including copper and fiber

+ Support security systems, including video surveillance systems, intrusion detection, and access control

+ Mount and secure cameras, access control devices, panels, and related hardware

+ Maintain organized cable pathways, racks, and IDF/MDF spaces

+ Read and follow cabling diagrams, site plans, and installation standards

+ Document work completed and communicate progress to project leads

Qualifications

+ Hands-on experience as a Cable Technician or similar role

+ Working knowledge of low-voltage cabling and structured cabling of any kind

+ Experience supporting or installing security systems, video surveillance systems, intrusion detection, and access control

+ Ability to work in ceilings, on ladders, and in active job sites

+ Strong attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism on-site
