    Description

    Growing Bronx New York firm is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to oversee financial activities. This role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining compliance, and collaborating with team members to support a seamless accounting process. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in bookkeeping and a strong understanding of real estate financial practices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.

    • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with bank statements.

    • Maintain accurate records of rental income, property sales, and purchases.

    • Collaborate with property managers and agents to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

    • Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.

    • Utilize QuickBooks to track and organize financial data efficiently.

    Requirements

    • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail, preferably in the real estate industry.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks software for accounting tasks.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.

    • Demonstrated ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.

    • Familiarity with real estate financial practices and regulations.
