    Description We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and ensure smooth accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing accounts and reconciling financial records, with an aptitude for using QuickBooks and other accounting tools.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are accurately coded and recorded.

    • Handle accounts receivable tasks, including tracking payments and addressing discrepancies.

    • Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

    • Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage financial transactions and maintain organized records.

    • Verify and code invoices in compliance with company policies.

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks.

    • Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.

    • Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

    • Respond to inquiries related to financial operations and resolve any issues effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and ensuring financial accuracy.

    • Skilled in using QuickBooks Online for managing accounting tasks.

    • Strong ability to code invoices and maintain organized financial records.

    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Effective communication skills to address financial inquiries and issues.
