    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our our client's dynamic team.     Responsibilities

    + Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex electrical systems based on specific objectives.

    + Conduct comprehensive reviews of internal, external, industry, customer, and range requirements to support system and subsystem designs.

    + Lead the development, coordination, and execution of test programs to evaluate designs.

    + Troubleshoot and conduct comprehensive failure investigations.

    + Mentor fellow engineers and perform peer reviews.

    + Collaborate with other integrated product teams, engineering disciplines, and operations/manufacturing groups.

    + Prepare and present electrical engineering materials for requirements and design reviews.

    + Conduct qualification, acceptance, characterization testing, and test data reviews of complex system designs.

    + Analyze data to identify trends indicating out-of-tolerance or degraded part performance.

    + Test to characterize off-nominal behavior of components.

    + Actively participate in and contribute to team decisions and goals in a positive manner.

    + Provide quality internal and external customer service.

    + Continuously seek new information sources and share necessary information to meet customer needs.

    + Evaluate uncertainty and risks associated with requirements and designs.

    + Participate in trade studies for internal projects and procured equipment.

    + Prioritize safety in every aspect of the role.

    + Provide formal peer reviews of engineering designs or analyses for team members.

    Essential Skills

    + Broad understanding and application of industry and company electrical engineering technical standards.

    + Technical expertise and working knowledge of related disciplines.

    + Proficiency in electrical engineering, Python, MATLAB, and missile systems.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with no experience.

    + Ability to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense Secret Security clearance.

    This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
