Job Title: Engineering Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to join our team, specializing in troubleshooting and testing electronic components.
Responsibilities
+ Perform tests on electronic components in the testing area.
+ Identify and repair issues in electronics.
+ Troubleshoot electronic equipment effectively.
+ Assist other departments such as quality, shipping, and production as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electronics and RF testing.
+ Ability to troubleshoot electronic devices.
+ Strong communication skills for collaborating with various departments.
+ Experience with soldering and operating solder printers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associates Degree in a related field.
+ Experience working with a small family-owned company environment.
Work Environment
Our work environment is laid-back yet professional, with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork. During training, the individual will work from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility in scheduling after training completion. The production floor is clean, and employees work at small workstations while wearing uniforms to prevent static discharge. This role offers the opportunity to learn from other technicians nearing retirement, ensuring knowledge retention and succession planning. This long-term position provides stability, as the company does not engage in layoffs, and offers advancement opportunities as employees retire.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $13.00 - $14.00/hr.
