The Idaho Lottery is seeking an outstanding Social Media/Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be a part of a fun, fast-paced, innovative team and agency.
This position is responsible for social media marketing, social media communications across platforms, and a range of other marketing tasks. This position assists the Marketing team in executing lottery strategies across social channels. Leveraging our customer engagement with these platforms, they manage and cultivate interactions with players to retain, expand, and engage our player community, thereby driving sales growth.
This position is in-office with some travel required, located in Boise, ID.

Responsibilities:
+ Develop and leverage social media to drive awareness, player engagement, and growth daily.
+ Develop, deploy, and manage organic and paid content for all social channels including supporting brand, product, and program initiatives.
+ Create fun, innovative promotions and contests that engage social users.
+ Create and collaborate on graphic and video content.
+ Provide reputation management by listening, commenting, and engaging with social media users.
+ Monitor other social media channels and anticipate new social media opportunities that will assist in continuous improvement of Lottery social channels.
+ Develop social media ideas that help drive player engagement and improve public communication that can be incorporated into customer loyalty and customer acquisition marketing plans.
+ Work with the Security division to maintain integrity of social contests and promotions.
+ Analyze, measure and report on social media KPIs to continually evolve.
+ Stay informed on emerging platforms and trends in social media management and engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Must be computer savvy and familiar with other digital media devices
+ Must be an advanced user of social media outside of personal use
+ Must be a creative problem solver with a passion to reinvent an industry
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
+ Ability to be a data driven decision maker, marketing innovator, and strong collaborator in building working relationships with cross-functional teams
+ Must have business knowledge and great customer service skills
+ Excellent communications skills and techniques comprised of written, verbal, and presentation capabilities
+ Possess a customer-centric mindset, positive attitude, and sense of humor
+ Highly organized and able to respond quickly to questions, concerns and issues
+ Ability to translate key messages into conversational messages for customers with flawless grammar and punctuation
+ Experience using Excel, Microsoft and PowerPoint
+ Experience using image and video creation software knowledge
+ Experience using content capturing equipment such as iPhone, digital cameras, microphones
+ Be able to effectively deal with complaints, web issues, product and billing questions in a written format and/or find the right person to assist. Requires strong, effective verbal and written communications skills to consult with management, business partners and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Creative Suite experience and knowledge.
+ Experience using social media channels, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, X(Twitter), Youtube, Threads, Pinterest.
+ Experience using a social media management tool like Brand Watch.

+ Have a valid driver’s license.
+ Successfully pass a criminal, credit, and public records background check conducted by the Idaho Lottery.
+ Successfully pass pre-employment and random ongoing drug tests.
