Job Title: Estimator – High-End Construction Consulting

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to play a key role in shaping project success. In this role, you will prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for complex construction projects, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge to ensure precision and efficiency.

What You’ll Do

+ Develop detailed estimates, including quantity take-offs, material pricing, labor costs, and equipment expenses.

+ Define and quantify project scope, preparing conceptual, budgetary, and construction cost estimates.

+ Analyze historical data and compile reports to establish benchmarks and best practices.

+ Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align estimates with project goals.

What We’re Looking For

+ 4+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

+ Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit is a plus.

+ Strong background in civil, structural, and architectural elements (steel, concrete, foundations, facades, roofing, elevators).

+ Hands-on take-off experience and knowledge of NYC construction standards.

+ Experience with cost consulting firms (e.g., Mace, Cumming Group, Turner & Townsend) is highly desirable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
