Responsibilities
+ Conduct audits of the production line.
+ Measure production to ensure compliance with standards.
+ Engage in frequent walking and interaction with the production environment.
+ Collaborate with engineering to confirm product issues and assign cases.
+ Send professional emails across teams and input measurement data into Excel.
+ Document any findings that do not meet quality standards and take timely action.
+ Assist in creating or updating documentation.
+ Identify and lead efforts to improve manufacturing processes.
+ Collaborate with engineering to test and inspect products.
+ Evaluate and process Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2 years of related quality or manufacturing experience.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Proficient in using standard measurement equipment and tools, including micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
+ Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
