Job Title: Electrical Project EngineerJob Description
Join our team as an Electrical Project Engineer, where you will engage in Research and Development (R&D) and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives. You will work on designing cutting-edge products to meet the evolving needs of the warfighter, ensuring producibility and affordability.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with the Advanced Programs team to support ammunition research and development projects.
+ Design new products, including components, subassemblies, and assemblies, focusing on producibility and affordability.
+ Conduct assembly and component analysis using hand calculations, tolerance stackup analysis, and engineering simulations such as Finite Element Analysis.
+ Assemble and test prototypes in both lab and ballistic settings.
+ Plan projects, track task completion, and coordinate with functional and subcontracted support teams to execute analyze-design-test-validate cycles for product development and qualification.
+ Develop and present technical design reviews for subsystems and systems.
+ Work under limited supervision while meeting technical, financial, and schedule objectives of projects.
+ Prepare technical justifications and reports for management reviews.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
+ Experience in the defense industry.
+ Proficiency in hardware and circuit board design.
+ Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) and Doppler radar technologies.
+ Experience with R&D and radio frequency projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions).
+ Proficiency with electronic design and simulation tools.
+ Understanding of internal and external ballistics and lethal mechanisms is a plus.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Excellent organizational abilities, including project management.
+ Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (MS Project is a plus).
+ Ability to collaborate with peers, supervisory employees, and customers.

This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
