    What You’ll Do

    As a Construction Estimator, you’ll be the backbone of our project planning process. Your day-to-day will include:

     

    + Lead Estimating for Diverse Projects: Commercial, healthcare, and manufacturing fit-outs.

    + Collaborate & Communicate: Attend on-site meetings with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure every detail aligns with specifications.

    + Negotiate & Strategize: Secure competitive contracts with vendors and subcontractors.

    + Plan Ahead: Develop work schedules with short-term and long-term look-aheads.

    + Own the Numbers: Perform take-offs, procure materials, and prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

    + Drive Accuracy: Review plans, create RFIs, track submittals, and evaluate bids.

    + Stay Ahead: Maintain historical cost data and monitor evolving project details.

    + Support Success: Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiations.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

    + 5+ years of experience in construction estimating.

    + Proficiency in estimating tools like Bluebeam, ProEst, or PlanSwift.

    + Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    + Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

    Bonus Points For:

    + Experience with healthcare or biopharma projects.

    + Project management experience on $1M+ projects.

    + Familiarity with Procore and MS Office.

    + PMP certification.

    Work Environment:

    Schedule: 7 AM – 4 PM

     

    Locations: Company HQ in Brookfield, CT + project sites in Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven counties, and Poughkeepsie, NY.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Brookfield, CT.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
