Job Title: QA/QC Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated QA/QC Technician to join our team. This role involves ensuring the quality and safety of our products through meticulous inspection and adherence to food safety protocols.

Responsibilities

+ Visually inspect raw materials for quality and compliance.

+ Verify product counts using basic math skills.

+ Enter data accurately into the system.

+ Monitor and adhere to GMP and food safety procedures.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in inspection and manufacturing.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Proficient in math and able to follow written and oral instructions.

+ Effective oral and written communication skills.

+ Understanding of quality assurance and food safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.

+ 1-2 years of QA experience preferred or relevant manufacturing industry experience required.

+ Experience in food manufacturing and food quality is highly advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment involves working in a facility that processes produce. It is cold and wet, with constant sanitation resulting in wet floors and temperatures maintained between 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit. The use of Chlorine and Citric Acid for cleaning results in a strong smell, and candidates should be asked about any allergies to Chlorine.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
