Job Title: 2nd Shift Shipping & Receiving Coordinator** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage operations in the Sterile Dock and warehouse area. This role involves receiving shipments, completing inventory using RF scanners and manual counting, and inputting data into systems via a computer or laptop. The successful candidate will coordinate with logistics customers for shipping and scheduling, as well as manage packaging and wrapping tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Email is essential. The role also involves creating purchase orders and necessary paperwork for loads, utilizing hi-lo and pallet jack equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Receive shipments and complete inventory using RF scanners and manual counting.

+ Input inventory data into systems using computers or laptops.

+ Coordinate with logistics customers for shipping and scheduling pick-ups.

+ Package and wrap skids for shipment.

+ Utilize hi-lo and pallet jack equipment effectively.

+ Perform 25% computer work and 75% warehouse activities.

+ Create purchase orders and other documentation required for loads.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Email.

+ Experience with inventory management and RF scanners.

+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

+ Ability to operate hi-lo and pallet jack equipment.

+ Understanding of logistics and shipping coordination.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

+ Certification in forklift operation is advantageous.

+ Prior experience in warehouse inventory management.

Work Environment

The role operates on a 2nd Shift from 1pm to 9pm, with some flexibility in start and end times. Initial training is provided on the 1st shift for 1-2 months, Monday to Friday, with a rotating Saturday schedule. The Sterile Dock features three dock doors, a scale and wrapper in the middle, and lanes capable of fitting four skids each. The area requires maneuverability in close quarters, and a desk area is equipped with a computer and documentation folders. Hi-Lo certification is provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Caledonia, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48000.00 - $57000.00/yr.
