Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join a food manufacturing company. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, conveyors, pneumatic delivery systems, and extrusion machines.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive maintenance on bakery equipment to minimize reactive breakdowns.

+ Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, including adjusting sensors and phone-eyes.

+ Conduct fabrication work, primarily welding stainless steel materials to create machine covers and catches for excess product.

+ Diagnose and resolve issues on the production line to maintain efficiency.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.

+ Experience with repair and preventive maintenance.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

+ Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

+ Understanding of 3-phase 480v systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in bakery or food manufacturing environments.

+ Experience with conveyor systems and motors.

+ Proficiency in industrial maintenance and welding.

Work Environment

Work in a clean food manufacturing facility with a 24/7 operation. The role involves third-shift hours from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, working 5 days a week. Expect to work approximately 48 - 52 hours per week, with scheduling based on bidding. Lunch breaks are unpaid.

The pay range for this position is $55577.00 - $55577.00/yr.
