    Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description

     

    As a General Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are accurately packed and labeled for our customers. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety policies will help maintain the quality and integrity of our products.

    Responsibilities

    + Place products in coolers and affix labels to containers, ensuring correct items are packed for customers.

    + Maintain and follow company safety policies at all times.

    + Visually inspect products, coolers, packaging, and dry ice for cleanliness and defects.

    + Follow procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage.

    + Lift dry ice from bins to scale and verify weights.

    + Place dry ice from conveyor into appropriately sized coolers.

    + Reject defective dry ice based on weight, specifications, and packaging.

    + Distinguish between different package shipping modes and affix appropriate shipper labels.

    + Perform quality control inspections of coolers to ensure orders are correct and properly presented.

    + Correct packing errors by obtaining the proper product or premium and recording the error.

    + Inspect coolers at a rate of 75 coolers per hour.

    + Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.

    Essential Skills

    + Packing, Production, Picking, Packaging, RF scanner, Loading, Unloading, Assembly, Labelling, Fulfillment Team Member

    + 6+ months of experience in general warehouse work, inventory, general labor, pick, pallet jack, order picking, warehouse inventory, general production, warehouse packing

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must be at least 18 years of age.

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    + Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.

    + Ability to understand and follow directions accurately.

    Work Environment

    Work in a large warehouse setting with conveyor belts and a high rate of product movement. The environment maintains a normal temperature, not a freezer setting. The shift runs from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

    This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
