    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    We have openings for general production workers, with shifts available from Monday-Friday

    Shifts and Pay:

    + 11am – 7:30pm

    + 8pm – 4:30am

     

    + $20.04

    Responsibilities

    + Load cheese onto conveyors for packaging machines.

    + Remove cheese from brine cages.

    + Stack cheese boxes neatly on pallets to ensure they fit into cooler racks without damage.

    + Construct boxes and pack products within them.

    + Remove packaging material from rejected cheese and prepare cheese for repackaging.

    + Inspect products and packaging for foreign materials and imperfections; segregate suspect products and rerun through metal detectors if needed.

    + Document any issues and inform the supervisor.

    + Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain plant equipment.

    + Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly fashion.

    + Assist in other production areas as required.

    + Help train new personnel.

    + Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater.

    + Follow all GMPs and adhere to corporate and regulatory food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

    + Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, general labor, machine operation, and packaging.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools, tape measures, and performing inspections.

    + Ability to perform simple math operations such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

    + Ability to read, write, and speak English.

    + Capability to carry out instructions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED preferred.

    + No prior experience required.

    + Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift items.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Wilmington, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.04 - $20.04/hr.
