    Job Title: Mold Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

     

    The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of injection molds used in production. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of mold systems. The technician will mentor junior staff, collaborate with engineering, and drive efficiency in mold operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Work on and repair injection mold production equipment.

    + Receive and follow corrective work orders from planners to address repairs needed on the line.

    + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with injection molding equipment.

    + Read blueprints and schematics to perform repairs independently.

    + Mentor junior staff and collaborate with engineering teams.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical troubleshooting

    + Preventive maintenance

    + Pneumatics and hydraulics

    + Blueprint reading

    + Mechanical maintenance

    + Experience with injection mold technology

    + Industrial and machine repair

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic hand tool knowledge and possession of personal tools (specialty tools provided by company).

    Work Environment

    This role operates within a climate-controlled manufacturing environment that is clean and free of unpleasant odors. Shifts are structured as 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), and 3rd (11pm-7am), with potential shifts extending up to 10 hours. Safety equipment such as safety glasses and vests are mandatory on the floor.

    The pay range for this position is $65520.00 - $68120.00/yr.
