Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will perform routine and reactive maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production processes by diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on injection molding machines, CNC machining centers, mechanical processing equipment, laser marking systems, and associated machinery.

+ Respond promptly to equipment failures and breakdowns to minimize downtime. Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and restore functionality to manufacturing equipment in a timely manner.

+ Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance. Implement proactive maintenance initiatives, such as equipment modifications, upgrades, and process optimizations, to enhance productivity and minimize maintenance costs.

+ Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions. Collaborate with production teams to address equipment-related challenges effectively.

Work Environment

This position is primarily for the first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the potential for a shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
