Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
This entry-level Assembler role is within a valve manufacturing company, primarily focusing on the shipping area. The successful candidate will be trained in various areas of assembly and work alongside the shipping department to ensure timely dispatch of products.
Responsibilities
+ Follow detailed assembly instructions and processes.
+ Adhere to Quality Policy and Procedures, OSHA guidelines, and regulations governing workplace safety.
+ Train other employees on job functions and safety requirements as needed.
+ Perform other duties as requested by the team lead.
+ Comply with all company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
+ Adapt to changes productively and handle additional duties as required.
+ Work independently and manage time effectively.
+ Work overtime as required.
Essential Skills
+ 2 years of experience in Assembly/Mechanical experience.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools.
+ High school diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience reading blueprints is a plus.
+ Experience with pneumatic equipment is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is air-conditioned, providing comfort throughout the workday. The position is on the 1st shift, starting at either 6am or 7am, with 10-hour shifts currently in effect.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
