    Maintenance Technician - HIRING ASAP

    Starting Pay/Wages:

    + Pay: $32.00-$42.00/hr

    + Shift Premium: $3.00-$4.00/hr

    Hours/Shift Openings:

    + (1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm)

    + (2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm)

    + (3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:00am)

    Duties & Qualifications:

    + Repairing electrical and mechanical components on conveyors, mixers, palletizers, packagers, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

    + Troubleshooting Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs.

    + Troubleshooting/repairing VFDs, proximity sensors, limit switches, photo-eyes, fuses, relays, actuators, contactors.

    + Rewiring/troubleshooting single and three phase motors up to 480v.

    + Repairing gear boxes, shafts, bearings, valves, cylinders, shafts, chains, etc.

    + Fabrication & repair.

    + Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating problems.

    + Inspect machinery and observe operations to detect the cause of malfunctions.

    + Make necessary repairs and adjustments to keep machinery in production.

    + Repair and maintain company machinery according to blueprints, catalogs, and data charts.

    + Disassemble and rebuild machines; overhaul troublesome components and attachments.

    + Dismantle, inspect, machine, and/or replace purchased parts.

    + Select replacement parts from parts lists and catalogs.

    + Lay out repair parts; set up and operate machine tools to machine parts.

    + Improvise tooling as necessary.

    + Perform machinist work related to the installation of new machine tools or relocation of existing machines.

    + Work as part of a project team to complete assignments.

    + Perform routine housekeeping activities in the work area.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

    + Experience with preventive maintenance and PLC troubleshooting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Journeyman certification is a big plus.

    + Ability to work independently and take initiative.

    + Open to candidates with supervisor-level experience.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
