    Service Technician

    Responsibilities

    + Provide world-class service to clients by maintaining and repairing high-pressure water jetting equipment.

    + Read and interpret schematics/blueprints for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    + Develop skills in technical service, troubleshooting, and training customers with hydro blast pumps and accessories.

    + Travel as required, including weekends and overtime, to perform service duties.

    + Communicate effectively with customers both internally and externally.

    + Lift up to 70 lbs and stand for an entire shift.

    + Participate in a one-year training program, including hands-on training with another technician on service calls.

    + Ensure regular and prompt attendance.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong mechanical knowledge and skills.

    + Experience in hydraulics, basic electrical, or pneumatics is desired.

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics/blueprints.

    + Excellent customer relations and communication skills.

    + Valid Michigan driver’s license and ability to obtain a CDL.

    + Own a full set of hand tools.

    + Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT physical including a drug screen.

    + Minimum of high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience as an automotive or diesel engine technician.

    + Comfortable with 50% travel.

    + Experience in diesel engine repair and field service.

    + Mechanically troubleshooting engines.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a branch office alongside a team of four mechanics and a salesperson. The environment is temperature-controlled, ensuring a comfortable workspace. The role includes both onsite work and travel for service duties, with company-provided travel arrangements and per diem.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Crown Point, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
