Now hiring a Shop Mechanic in the Camp Hill, PA area

Job Description

The shop mechanic will be responsible for disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling electric motors and pumps. The role requires strong mechanical experience. Additionally, the mechanic will test electro-mechanical rotating equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using various methods (AC/DC).

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Pay Rate: $20-$25/hour

Responsibilities

+ Disassemble and reassemble electric motors and pumps.

+ Clean and repair mechanical and electrical components.

+ Troubleshoot and test electro-mechanical rotating equipment using AC/DC methods.

+ Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electrical parts, including brushes, bearings, gears, seals, and more.

+ Operate specialized repair and testing equipment such as test panels, surge testers, core loss testers, and more..

This is a Permanent position based out of Camp Hill, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $61000.00/yr.
