Aerotek is hiring CNC Operator
2nd Shift will train on 1st shift
Responsibilities
+ Operate CNC mills effectively.
+ Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Maintain precision with tolerances as low as .0 and sometimes in the negatives.
+ Change out broken tooling and adjust offsets.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on machines as needed.
+ Run and oversee 3 machines simultaneously.
Essential Skills
+ CNC machining experience.
+ Familiarity with quality inspection tools like calipers and micrometers.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance.
+ Comfortable with blueprints and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-3 years of experience operating a machine in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience in the medical device sector is a bonus.
+ Exposure to working with microscopes is a plus.
+ Swiss machine experience is highly desirable.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, extremely clean medical device facility. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is essential. The shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
