Job Title: Production Line Associate
Job Description
The Production Line Associate position is crucial for ensuring the effective operation of the production line, meeting production, budgetary, quality, safety, and waste goals. Under general supervision, you will work at a steady pace on a moving production line, multitask and adapt to various assignments while maintaining a clean work area and following all safety and Good Manufacturing guidelines. You will work in a supportive team environment to meet production quality and quantity standards, reduce waste, rework, and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure line set-up, product changeovers, package size changes, and adjustments on line equipment.
+ Operate processing, filling, and packaging production line equipment.
+ Perform quality inspections of products and packaging, including visual checks of raw materials, caps, labels, date codes, weights, and seals.
+ Monitor work activities of the line team to ensure effective production line operation, meeting quality standards, minimizing downtime, and practicing waste control.
+ Process required inventory control transactions using SAP and complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
+ Perform allergen cleanup and daily housekeeping duties in the work area.
+ Assist in training employees on line equipment operation and company processes.
+ Demonstrate dependability and a commitment to quality work.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to read and write clearly and effectively.
+ Capability to work well in a team setting and get along with others.
+ Experience in industrial or production environments.
+ Attention to detail and ability to remain attentive to machinery during long shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in warehouse production, loading, and packing.
+ Troubleshooting skills for machinery operations.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Orleans, LA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
