Job Title: Tower Sealer Palletizer Operator

Job Description

The Tower Sealer Palletizer works in the Cheese department, rotating between three workstations: bagging finished cheese blocks, sealing the cheese package, and palletizing the finished product.

Responsibilities

+ Follow all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

+ Operate a forklift to move cheese from the production area to the warehouse cooler.

+ Run Beta Vac and bag sealer ensuring no leaks.

+ Weigh blocks and place label tickets on blocks and boxes.

+ Operate and validate the metal detector.

+ Operate the boxer and robotic systems.

+ Manage tower operations.

+ Maintain operating records such as block counts.

+ Perform necessary routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.

+ Master sanitation procedures as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in packaging and lifting.

+ Ability to read work orders in English.

+ Team player with experience in production, general labor, packing, loading, stacking, and palletizing.

+ Basic computer skills to document work orders.

+ Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

+ Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ZUMBROTA, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
