    Job Title: QA/QC Technician II** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA/QC Technician II to join our team. This role involves ensuring the quality and safety of our products through rigorous inspection and monitoring procedures. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining our standards for food safety and quality assurance within our manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Visually inspect raw materials to ensure quality standards are met.

    + Verify product counts using basic math skills.

    + Perform data entry tasks related to quality assurance.

    + Monitor and enforce GMP and food safety procedures.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic math abilities.

    + Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

    + Effective oral and written communication skills.

    + Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.

    + 1-2 years of QA experience or relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in food manufacturing and food quality is highly preferred.

    Work Environment

    This role is based in a facility that cleans, rinses, cuts, and distributes various types of produce. The environment is cold and wet, with temperatures maintained between 34-40 degrees. The floors are consistently wet due to ongoing sanitation and washing processes, and the facility is cleaned using Chlorine and Citric Acid, resulting in a strong smell. Candidates should be aware of these conditions and any potential allergies to Chlorine.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
