    Job Title: General Labor** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team in assembling containers. This position requires physical strength, teamwork, and a commitment to following detailed instructions to ensure the successful assembly of our products.

    Responsibilities

    + Use hand tools such as hammers and screwdrivers to assemble containers.

    + Lift and handle materials weighing over 50 lbs.

    + Utilize a tape measure for accurate measurement tasks.

    + Work collaboratively in teams of five to assemble containers.

    + Follow instructions and directions to ensure proper assembly.

    + Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in assembling and disassembling components.

    + Employ hand and power tools efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to use hand tools including drills, hammers, and screwdrivers.

    + Experience in assembly or construction.

    + Proficiency in reading and using a tape measure.

    + Mechanical aptitude for assembly and disassembly tasks.

    + Basic math skills for measurement tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Steel-toed boots are mandatory.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously.

    + Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.

    Work Environment

    Work in a spacious warehouse setting, part of a team assembling numerous containers. While the environment can be cold in winter and hot in summer, the large facility offers ample space for efficient operations. Candidates must wear steel-toed boots and maintain excellent attendance, as reliability is crucial to success in this role.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harvey, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
