Job Title: Sanitation Worker** **Job Description
As a Sanitation Worker, you will effectively clean all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant, including equipment, machinery, and general grounds. You will be responsible for adhering to food safety standards, proficiently using plant touch screens, and following CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures. Additionally, you must adhere to HAACP principles and demonstrate the safe and proper use of cleaning tools.
Responsibilities
+ Clean and sanitize equipment, machinery, and general grounds within the manufacturing plant.
+ Adhere to food safety standards and HAACP principles.
+ Use plant touch screens proficiently and follow CIP procedures.
+ Demonstrate the safe and proper use of cleaning tools, including squeegees, mops, brooms, hand and floor scrapers, paint brushes.
+ Read and understand labeling on cleaning products and sanitizers.

Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced, production-based environment with plenty of communication. The company operates in medium-sized facilities at both the Abingdon and Belcamp locations. Employees in the shipping/receiving department must wear steel-toed shoes. The company produces a variety of edible products, such as seasonings, and non-edible products like essential oils. The shift is from 7 or 8 AM to 5:30 PM, offering a full day of engaging work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Abingdon, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
