Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description

The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in the Quality Department by ensuring that products meet or exceed safe food handling and quality standards. This role involves collaborating with Operations and other stakeholders to maintain quality parameters, ensuring controls function as designed, and addressing issues promptly.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in problem-solving events to determine root causes and establish preventive measures.

+ Demonstrate knowledge and application of all laboratory procedures and be cross-functionally trained to cover all Quality Control and Assurance checks.

+ Assist as a Trainer for all QA Lab, Line, and department policies and procedures.

+ Perform sensory evaluations on samples and document findings as necessary.

+ Ensure effective collection and shipment of customer samples with appropriate documentation.

+ Work independently at the batch station and escalate issues when necessary.

+ Effectively batch and make necessary adjustments using experience and tools at the frontline station for all lines and product SKUs.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in inspection, quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection.

+ Familiarity with gauges and other measurement tools.

+ Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to adhere to internal policies, including GMP practices and attendance policies.

+ Ability to follow directions and work independently with limited supervision.

+ Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and legible documentation.

This is a Contract position based out of Walton, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
