    Job Description

    We are seeking an individual to operate and assist in our roll forming production department. The role involves operating various machines to produce metal shingles and siding for residential buildings. These machines are akin to punch presses, brake presses, and perforating machines. Any machine operating experience in printing environments are accepted as well!

    Responsibilities

    + Adjust machine settings to meet material and finished product requirements.

    + Observe machine operation to detect defects in workpieces or machine malfunctions.

    + Ensure product quality by making necessary adjustments to the machine.

    + Coordinate with packers to package, label, stack, and transport finished workpieces promptly.

    + Operate hoists to place coils of metal on and off an unwinder.

    + Complete production records for finished goods.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of machine operation experience.

    + Mechanically inclined.

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in general labor, production, assembly, material handling, and blueprint reading.

    + Skills in machine operating, sheet metal fabrication, shear, roll forming, and packaging.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
