    Job Title: Finishing Carpenter** **Job Description

     

    Join our team as a Finishing Carpenter and take part in exciting projects primarily located within the metro and west metro areas, with occasional assignments in Southern Minneapolis and rare travel to Eastern Wisconsin. We are seeking a skilled carpenter with over six years of finish carpentry experience, particularly those specializing in trim and punch list work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn our processes and grow into a leadership role.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform finish carpentry duties with precision and attention to detail.

    + Specialize in trim and punch list work, ensuring high-quality results.

    + Engage in stick framing tasks as needed.

    + Drive directly to job sites, ensuring timely and efficient project completion.

    + Collaborate with a team of carpenters, contributing to various tasks as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Over 5 years of experience in trim/finish carpentry.

    + Proficiency in stick framing is advantageous.

    + Possession of personal carpentry tools.

    + Valid driver's license.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with blueprint reading and rough carpentry.

    + Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, even during winter months.

    + Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and quality.

    Work Environment

    Work alongside a lead carpenter, performing a variety of finish carpentry tasks. Our projects typically involve teams of 5 to 10 carpenters, fostering a collaborative environment. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Project sites include areas such as Shorewood, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Hudson, and Hastings. We value team players who are motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of asking questions when necessary.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Excelsior, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
