This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit’s Defense Business Unit (“Spirit Defense”). Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
+ Performs responsibilities requiring the integration of disciplines from more than one supplier management and procurement job family and applies independent, specialized technical expertise to support a wide range of business objectives
+ Activities include, but are not limited to, the development, integration, implementation, and execution of multidisciplinary business processes
+ Works cross-functionally with internal and external customers and suppliers and all employee levels to carry out responsibilities
+ Applies process management and improvement techniques
+ Uses problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to develop innovative and expedient solutions to problems
+ Facilitates work teams, provides training, and interfaces with internal organizations and external customers with regard to project planning, problem resolution, and process improvement
+ The role demands a focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment. Candidates must also display strong judgment, leadership, and integrity
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and departments in a diverse environment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience in as a Supply Chain Professional and/or Management experience in a production environment
+ Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
+ Experience working with multiple cross functional groups
+ Strong project management and time management skills
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Experience presenting to and interacting with all levels of the organization
+ Ability to effect change
+ Knowledge of MRP systems, SAP preferred
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain or other relevant course of study
+ MBA or Master’s Degree
+ Knowledge/experience with manufacturing and manufacturing processes
+ APICS, CPIM, CSCP or other industry certification
+ Governance and Compliance background including experience with AS9100 or other external audits.
+ Experience in Aerospace
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $97,800 - $149,950
