    THE POSITION

    DESCRIPTION OF WORK

    In this position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the timekeeping processes for the County Office staff. This includes the precise entry of payroll information, thorough investigation of any discrepancies in time records, and the prompt resolution of payroll-related issues. Your responsibilities will also extend to providing backup support for the front desk receptionist, ensuring that all clerical tasks are executed efficiently and in a timely manner. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, as you will be a key player in ensuring the seamless operation of the office while also assisting with various administrative functions as necessary.

    Work Schedule and Additional Information:

    + Full-time employment

    + Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

    + Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

    + Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,685.00 (before taxes).

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

    + One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) ;or

    + One year of moderately complex clerical experience ;or

    + An equivalent combination of experience and training.

    Special Requirements:

    + This position requires keyboarding skills to meet standards for speed and accuracy.

    Additional Requirements:

    + You must be able to perform essential job functions.
