Pricing and Intelligent Experiences (PIX) is an important component of critical commerce functions that help billions of dollars of revenue flow through the company. It serves as the key service responsible for providing high fidelity estimates and accurate charge computation for transactions across Azure, Microsoft 365, Commerce and other business verticals.
We are seeking passionate and experienced Software Engineer II to drive design, implementation and delivering high quality capabilities to meet our commercial initiative.

Responsibilities
+ Lead design and implementation of distributed systems that orchestrate charge estimation, diagnostics and self-healing capabilities across Microsoft services.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, service owners and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact capabilities.
+ Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, design discussions and mentor junior engineers
+ Own service health and live site operations, including deployment automation and telemetry-driven diagnostics.
+ Contribute to service architecture and roadmap for Pricing services, aligning with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
+ 3+ years of professional experience in designing, developing and operation highly reliable cloud services at scale.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience working with cloud services like Azure.
+ Experience working with enterprise grade systems handling mission-critical business logic.
+ Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance engineering effectiveness, coupled with a strong curiosity and commitment to continuous learning in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
+ Have 3+ years of professional experience in designing, developing and operation highly reliable cloud services at scale.
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
