    Sales Manager (Manufacturing)

    About the Role

    We’re seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead key accounts, grow revenue with innovative strategies, and leverage technology to optimize sales performance. You will be the primary customer contact, drive relationship‑building across the lifecycle, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to deliver exceptional service.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing general technical support and ensuring outstanding service.

    + Develop new accounts and nurture existing relationships through proactive outreach and account plans.

    + Use market insights to define pricing, estimate profitability, and inform product direction.

    + Coordinate with engineering and subcontractors to enhance product performance and margins.

    + Investigate and resolve customer issues; provide solutions and actionable recommendations.

    + Prepare and analyze reports on sales trends, forecasts, and backlog status; present insights to leadership.

    + Lead customer site tours; represent the company at trade shows and external events.

    + Oversee administrative steps for new product launches and ensure specification accuracy.

    + Recommend improvements to productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

    + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

    + Supervise support staff as needed.

     

    What You’ll Bring

     

    + Skills: Strong communication and relationship‑building; ability to prioritize in a technical manufacturing environment; experience in sales strategy, pricing, and market analysis.

    + Experience: 10+ years of sales experience in a manufacturing/engineering field; direct experience with building/designing ultrasound transducers.

    + Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; MBA a plus.

     

    Work Environment & Travel

     

    + On‑site Monday–Friday; flexible schedule with core hours 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

    + Travel: ~10% for trade shows; annual trip to Germany each November (passport required).

    This is a Permanent position based out of Boalsburg, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
