    You will be in South San Francisco CA part of LSG Division

    A Day in the Life:

    + Receiving, examining, sorting, arranging, counting, storing, picking, and packing items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements.

    + Preparing and filing routine documentation.

    + Maintaining quality metrics.

    + Operating material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, pallet jack, Forklift etc).

    + Working in and out of a +4c walk-in Cold Room and -20c walk-in Freezer.

    Keys to Success:

    Education

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Experience

    + 1-3 years of warehouse experience preferred.

    + Experience with Inventory Control and/or with a life science company is a plus.

    + Experience using a forklift, handheld scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or E1 (Oracle) software, or lean tools is preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    + Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching) required.

    + Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

    + Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quickly.

    + Ability to read and write in English.

    + Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs. on a continuos basis.

    + Must be flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.

    + This position requires the individual to be ready to start work on-time daily and also may require over time when demand fluctuates. Unplanned unapproved / missed-time is required to be less than 2% annually.

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $15.08–$20.50.
