    Job Title: Behavior Technician (BT)

     

    Pay Rate: $25/hour

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM (30-min unpaid break)

     

    Start Date: ASAP (or January 5 after winter break)

     

    End Date: End of school year

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Behavior Technician (BT) to provide 1:1 support for high school students in the classroom. This role involves working closely with students who require behavioral and academic assistance throughout the school day. While primarily assigned to one student, BTs may assist a couple of different students as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide individualized behavioral and academic support in a classroom setting.

    + Implement strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement.

    + Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure student success.

    Requirements:

    + Illinois State Paraprofessional License

    + Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Behavior Technician

    + Experience working with high school students

    + Comfortable working in a 1:1 capacity

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills

    Details:

    + Caseload: High school level, 1:1 position

    + Interview: Monday, 12/15 after 8:30 AM or another date

    + Breaks: 30-min unpaid break

    + Duration: ASAP through end of school year
