    Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? Amergis Educational Staffing is partnering with schools in Salem, MA to bring on a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2025–2026 school year, including ESY and next school year.

    Position Snapshot

    + Location: Salem, MA

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Schedule: Part-time, 16–24 hours per week

    + Duration: Full 2025–2026 school year

    + Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour (based on experience and licensure)

    What You’ll Do

    + Provide occupational therapy support in individual, small group, and inclusive classroom settings across multiple schools

    + Assist the Occupational Therapist with evaluations and recommendations

    + Implement IEP goals and maintain accurate documentation

    + Adapt classroom environments, tools, and materials to enhance student participation

    + Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families; attend meetings and trainings

    + Ensure compliance with special education regulations and professional standards

    + Maintain therapy equipment and offer staff consultation under supervision

    + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work independently or as part of a team

    What We’re Looking For

    + Certified COTA with active MA licensure

    + Experience working with school-aged children

    + Reliable transportation for travel between schools
