Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – $40/hr – Stafford, TX – Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. Responsibilities include clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities within the scope of care assigned by the supervising SLP and/or physician.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Stafford, TX

+ Start Date: December 22, 2025

+ End Date: May 31, 2026

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday

+ Hours: 37.5 hrs/week

+ Duration: 25 weeks

+ Pay Rate: $40/hr

+ Modality: In-person only

+ Openings: 1

+ Grade Levels: EC–5th OR Middle & High School

+ Caseload: Approximately 130 students district-wide

+ Shift Times: Standard school hours

Responsibilities:

+ Assist SLP in providing speech and language therapy services

+ Support compensatory services as needed

+ Document services accurately and timely

+ Collaborate with school staff and ensure compliance with guidelines

Requirements:

+ Graduate of an SLPA program (Associate’s) or Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders

+ Minimum 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent

+ Current SLPA certification/licensure in Texas (TDLR)

+ One (1) year of prior SLPA experience preferred

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
