    The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.

    + Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging

    + A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

     

    CT / X-Ray Technologist – Travel Assignment

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    Contract Length: 13 Weeks

     

    Facility Type: Small community hospital seeking a reliable, dependable traveler

    Position Overview

    We are looking for an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team in beautiful Sonoma, CA. This is an account breaker opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives in a small facility environment with lower imaging volumes.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform CT scans using Siemens CT systems

    + Operate X-ray equipment (GE and Carestream systems)

    + Complete venipuncture procedures (California certification required)

    + Provide high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety and comfort

    Requirements

    + Experience: Siemens CT experience required

    + Certifications:

    + California Venipuncture Certification

    + Flexibility: Willing to perform both CT and X-ray duties

    Scheduling

    + Likely 10-hour shifts (2nd shift or graveyard)

    + Open to pre-approved days-off requests

    + Willing to negotiate:

    + 5x8s

    + 4x10s

    + Two 16-hour weekend shifts

    Travel Pay

    + $2,982/week for 5x8s

    + $2,978/week for 4x10s

    + $2,385/week for 2x16s
