    Radiation Therapist – Adult Acute Care

     

    Hourly Pay: $64–$68

     

    Weekly Gross: Up to $3,200 (includes travel stipends)

     

    Facility: Radiation Therapy – Outpatient

     

    Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8s

     

    Assignment: 13-week contract

     

    Estimated Start Date: 1/15/2026

    Position Summary:

    The Radiation Therapist applies ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. This role is essential for the efficient operation of the radiation department and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Administer prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely

    + Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment

    + Verify patient identity and treatment parameters before each session

    + Monitor patient condition and report any adverse reactions

    + Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records

    + Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize care

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Associate’s Degree (or as required by state regulations)

    + Current Licensure as a Radiation Therapist (Washington State)

    + Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist (travel experience preferred)

    + Current CPR certification

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
