    Job Summary

    EMCOR Government Services is seeking a **Shift Engineer** in **Quantico, VA.** **This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.**

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    + Responsible for operating and maintaining chillers, boilers, site building systems and associated equipment.

    + Flexibility is expected to ensure smooth facility operations; rotational shifts are required only when necessary.

    + Monitor assigned equipment and systems locally and remotely.

    + Respond to alarms, and make periodic tours, recording required data in operating logs.

    + Perform hourly logs of operating equipment. Be familiar with emergency plans and responses.

    + Respond to service calls and take corrective action.

    + Perform other related duties as requested.

    Qualifications

    + **Must have EPA - CFC Universal Certification**

    + **Must have active HVAC Journeyman or Third Grade Stationary Engineers License in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia.**

    + **Must have 5 years of experience**

    + **Must have technical knowledge of Building Automation System, Centrifugal Chillers, Air Cooled Chillers, Fire and Water Tube Boilers, Air Handling Units, Variable Air Volume, Fan Coil Unit, and Chemical Treatment.**

    + **Must be familiar with emergency systems including redundancy, isolation, change over, and shut down of all utilities, and mission critical systems.**

    + **Must be eligible for a Top Secret (TS) security clearance.**

    + **Must be willing and able to work any shift**
